This ever-changing, digitally-programmed installation repeatedly deconstructs and recreates the familiar form of a chandelier. As almost 2000 suspended Swarovski crystals move in different directions, their reflective and refractive qualities are brought to life. Fredrikson Stallard's explosive piece is more emotional than functional, delivering the unconventional spectacle of a chandelier without using a single shining light.
Fredrikson Stallard is a collaboration between Patrik Fredrikson and Ian Stallard, two leading exponents of British Avant-Garde design.
